CPR schedules maintenance at King Street crossing in Cranbrook

Traffic over the CPR crossing at King Street will be shut down for a short while on Sunday, August 29, due to maintenance.

The Canadian Pacific Railway has advised it will be closing the King Street crossing at King Street and Van Horne in Cranbrook to road traffic on August 29 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. from - 11 a.m. for maintenance on the crossing protection equipment. As the crossing will not be functional while the work is being done, barricades in the traffic lanes will be erected in order to block road traffic from using the crossing.
