The Cranes of Hope a Legacy of Rod Osiowy continues to find support from amazing places.

Candice Fiorentino, a former MBSS Drama Student, recently contacted East Kootenay Foundation for Health regarding a special Tea Party taking place in Cranbrook next week. Candice and a few of her friends have written a show entitled ?Happily Ever After?? ? a musical comedy (best-suited for adults) about what happens to some well known Princesses after they ride off into the sunset.

Since the show is designed for adults, children are usually quite disappointed that they don?t get to see the beautiful Princesses. So Candice and her cast mates decided to have a special ?Tea Party with the Princesses? while they are in Cranbrook. The Tea Party (tea and cupcakes) takes place at the Prestige Inn (small ballroom) on Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is a chance for kids and parents to meet and take pictures with the Princesses. Admission is by donation, with a suggested donation of $5 per person with the proceeds going to the Cranes of Hope.

The only reminder is to ensure you bring your own camera.

?Rod O was a big part of my life,? Candice said. ?And to show my appreciation my castmates and I decided to get behind the Cranes of Hope by donating the proceeds from our Tea Party to this amazing project.?

The ?Happily Ever After?? show is on Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Key City Theatre. Doors open at 7:30 with a meet and greet with the Princesses following with this creative show at 8:30 p.m.

The Cranes of Hope is about hope and inspiration. Candice Fiorentino and her special Tea Party gift remembering her former teacher is certainly inspiration.
