The Nitros grabbed a three-goal lead within the 20 minutes; two on separate powerplays. Jared Marchi opened the scoring, followed by Duley's first of the night roughly two minutes later.
Just after the halfway mark, Duley scored again later before the Rockies managed to respond, scoring on the powerplay off a goal from Cody Stephenson.
Duley completed his hat trick nearly two minutes into the second period, followed by a goal from Dallin Wolfe at 11:32.
Spencer Johnson scored for the Rockies on the man-advantage near the end of the frame in an effort to inspire some kind of comeback, but Senate Patton found the back of the net with eight seconds left on the clock.
The Nitro onslaught continued in the third, with goals from Taylor McDowell and Jordan Revie, before the Rockies posted their final goal on an effort from Josh Haley.
Wolfe scored again and Jordan Bartusek got in on the action before the final buzzer went.
Nitro defenceman Isaac Schacher was tossed for a check from behind in the second period.
John Skeet, a 16-year-old rookie prospect for the Nitros was also ejected after a slashing incident.
Jeremy Mousseau stood between the pipes, making 25 saves to earn the win.
Patton also notched two assists along with his goal, and Richard Hubscher collected three.
The Dynamiters will take on the league-leading Beaver Valley Nitehawks at the Civic Centre on Friday night in what will be a tough test as the club heads into the final stretch of the regular season.
