Bozon returning to competitive hockey
Tim Bozon is getting back into competitive hockey.
The Kootenay Ice import will be representing France at an U23 tournament in the Czech Republic that begins at the end of July.
Joining France at the tournament will be top club teams from the host country, Poland and Slovakia.
Bozon has been back on the ice and has resumed training following a battle with meningitis earlier in the year. A third-round draft pick of the Montreal Canadiens in 2012, Bozon was hospitalized in March during a road trip through Saskatchewan where he was diagnosed with a severe form of meningitis.
He was released after four weeks at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, and promptly returned home to France to begin rehabilitation.
He came to the Kootenay Ice in a trade with the Kamloops Blazers last October. In 203 WHL games, Bozon collected 105 goals and 231 points.
