Surrey RCMP investigate vehicle shooting in traffic

SURREY, B.C. - Surrey RCMP are investigating a shooting between the occupants of two vehicles.

Police say two vehicles were cutting in and out of traffic.

Officers say the occupants of a white Nissan were firing shots at people inside a black Mercedes, who may have also been firing shots.

Police say there were no reports of injuries but at least one other vehicle was hit by a bullet.

About 25 minutes later there was a report of two vehicles with similar descriptions weaving in and out of traffic.

It is unclear if the vehicles in the second report were the same as those involved in the earlier shooting, though police believe it may be a possibility.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
