Canucks sign Archibald, DeFazio

VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks have signed forwards Darren Archibald and Brandon DeFazio.

Archibald, 24, appeared in 16 regular season games for the Vancouver Canucks in the 2013-14 season, recording three points (one goal, two assists).

The six-foot-three, 212-pound forward played in 59 regular season games for the Utica Comets in 2013-14, recording 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) and 102 penalty minutes.

DeFazio a 25-year-old six-foot-one, 215-pound forward collected 34 points (17 goals, 17 assists) and 106 penalty minutes in 76 games with Utica last season.
