LONDON, Ont. - Charges have been laid in connection with a car crash at a London, Ont., Costco store that killed a young girl and injured her sister and their pregnant mother, whose baby later died.

Police say 65-year-old Ruth Burger of London, Ont., is charged with criminal negligence causing death in relation to the death of six-year-old Addison Hall.

The girl, along with her pregnant mother and her three-year-old sister were struck by a car that crashed through the doors of the store on July 25.

The mother, Danah McKinnon-Bozek, was eight months pregnant and her baby was delivered by emergency C-section immediately after the crash, but died in hospital on Aug. 1.

London police Sgt. Amanda Pfeffer says the mother has been released from hospital while her three-year-old daughter Miah remains in hospital in good condition.

She says Burger has been released from custody and is schedule to appear in court on Sept. 16.

Two other people suffered minor injuries in the crash, along with the driver of the car.
