The Kamloops Riverside Lawn Bowling Club are seeking new members. We welcome people of all ages. Lawn bowling does not require a commitment to time as games are put together with a draw. During this Basic experiential workshop, participants are introduced to core shamanism, the universal and near-universal basic methods of the shaman to enter non-ordinary reality for problem solving and healing. Particular emphasis is put on the classic shamanic journey, one of the most remarkable visionary methods used by humankind to explore the hidden universe otherwise known mainly through myth and dream. The society will run its Family Caregiver Series, a one-day workshop providing practical coping strategies for family members who are caring for a person with dementia.
